NEUHAUS
NEUHAUS ist das Soloprojekt des Schweizer Musikers Yves Neuhaus. Seine in Teilen neoklassizistisch anmutenden Stücke kreisen stets um diverse Loops, die der Multi-instrumentalist mit klassischer Violinenausbildung mit Violine, Kontrabass, Synthesizer, Drumcomputer und diversen Effekten zu imposanter Größe aufschaukelt.
Nicht nur loopt er Melodien der Violine und tiefe Läufe des Kontrabasses, sondern benutzt verschiedenste perkussiv-klangliche Möglichkeiten der beiden Instrumente.
Während seinen Live-Performances baut Neuhaus mit einem ausgeklügelten System aus seinen Instrumenten, Loopstations und Elektronik, seine Musik immer neu auf und fasziniert das Publikum mit einer packenden Kombination aus Komposition und Improvisation.

NEUHAUS is the solo loop project of violinist Yves Neuhaus. NEUHAUS surrenders to the fascination of live loops and cultivates constant repetition and overlapping.
With violin, double bass and drum machines NEUHAUS layers and creates extensive sound worlds. He not only loops melodies of the violin and deep passages of the double bass, but also uses various percussive-sounding possibilities of the two instruments. The musician complements this sound with natural live percussion and electronic drumbeats.
During his live performances, Neuhaus uses a complex system of his instruments, loop stations and electronics to constantly rebuild his music and fascinate the audience with a captivating combination of composition and improvisation.
